Smile Care Dentists are proud to be a HCF Preferred Provider

Eligible HCF health fund members are able to receive 100% back on a range of dental services through our provider network (depending on your level of cover). Some of the services includes:

• 1 to 2  dental exams per calendar year,
• Scale and clean,
• Intra and extra oral radiographs
• Custom-made mouthguards (annual limits apply).

To enjoy these benefits, simply present your HCF health fund card which can be easily processed on our HICAPS machine following your appointment.

Child Dental Benefit Schedule

We bulk bill all eligible patients under the Child Dental Benefit Scheme (CDBS) between ages 2-17 years. This scheme is capped at $1,000 per child over a two calendar year period and provides individual benefits for a range of services including examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions. Please contact Medicare enquiries on 132 011 to check your eligibility. Please remember to bring your Medicare Card and Medicare eligibility letter at the time of your appointment.

Eligible Veterans can be provided most dental treatment at no extra cost.

Barwon Health Dental Vouchers

We accept VEDS (Victorian Emergency Dental Services) and VGDS (Victorian General Dental Services) vouchers from Barwon Health. Vouchers must be presented and co-payment made on the day of visit.

Student and Pensioner Discount

Discounts are available for students and pensioners. Please advise the reception team if you are a student or pensioner before your appointment and bring your card along on the day of your visit.

DentiCare

DentiCare is a company which offers interest free payment plans for dental treatment. DentiCare Payment Plans can be used for treatment over $1000 with varying term lengths to suit your budget. To be eligible you must be an Australian citizen over 18 years of age, be able to provide proof of income, and not be subject to bankruptcy or any debt agreements. ZipMoney

ZipMoney is a company which offers interest free payment plans. ZipMoney can be used for treatment up to $2000 over a 6 month term. To be eligible you must be an Australian citizen over 18 years of age, and be employed in some capacity earning over $300 per week.
